Preparing for the different stages of a court process is often very emotional and difficult to navigate and process. I offer court process support for creating case documents such as affidavits, office of the children's lawyer applications, victim impact statement, etc. as well as mental and emotional preparation and support for upcoming court dates.

 

This is short term counselling where we will work together to process the emotions that are coming up so that you can show up in your most empowered version. This allows you to be clear and concise in communicating your message whether in a prepared document or in court.

Document only support package focuses on support to release the emotional attachment that impedes the ability to create clear, concise, and persuasive documents.

 

The document only support package includes:

• 2 hr meeting (if time allows, 2x 1hr sessions spaced 1 week apart, otherwise 2x 1hr sessions booked back to back); and

• Notes and feedback from the session that will inform the bulk of the foundation of the document.

Cost: $499 + HST

Comprehensive short term support package focuses on providing whole person support during the creation of documents (before and after the court date depending on circumstances), emotional support and mental preparation leading up to and on court dates, debriefing support following court.

 

The comprehensive short term support package includes:

• 2 hr preparatory meeting (if time allows, 2x 1hr sessions spaced 1 week apart, otherwise 2x 1hr sessions booked back to back);

• Notes and feedback from the session that will inform the bulk of the foundation of the document.

• 2x 15 minute phone/zoom check ins, first check in the day before court, second the morning of or afternoon after court;

• Texting support for the day of court;

• 1 hr debrief, processing and next steps meeting within a few days of the court date; and

• One meditation track download for grounding and empowerment during the court process.

Cost: $899 + HST

As a registered social worker, I provide receipts for insurance and tax purposes. Psychotherapy and counselling services are covered by many extended health insurance benefits and are tax deductible medial expenses.
